Star Headline reported that a young man returned to safety at about 6pm after sitting outside a window on an exterior ledge or awning at a residential building on Mount Butler Road, Jardine’s Lookout. He was taken to hospital for examination.
The incident was reported at about 3pm on 16 September. Police sent negotiators to speak with the man, while firefighters deployed or prepared an air cushion below the building as a precaution.
Ming Pao reported that the building was at 111 Mount Butler Road and described the man as about 19 years old. He had climbed out of a unit window and was sitting in a dangerous position on the exterior structure.
Police were still investigating the incident, according to Star Headline.
