Police received a report at about 11pm on Sunday, October 25, from a 68-year-old woman who said she found a door forced open at her home on Pinery Road South in Yuen Long. She also reported signs of ransacking and suspected a burglary.
An initial estimate put the missing property at about HK$349,000. It included two watches, two pieces of gold, two necklaces, and cash in Hong Kong and foreign currencies.
