A woman in her 50s died after being struck by a car in Hung Shui Kiu, and police arrested the 53-year-old driver on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death.
The collision happened at about 11 p.m. on Castle Peak Road - Hung Shui Kiu, as the car travelled towards Yuen Long. The woman was found unconscious and taken to Tuen Mun Hospital, where she died after treatment.
The driver returned home, reviewed dashcam footage and contacted police after suspecting the car had hit someone.
