Police arrested four local men in Tai Po on the morning of October 29 on suspicion of assault. They were detained for investigation.
The arrests followed an attack reported outside a shop on Pak Shing Street at about 5pm the previous day. The victim’s wife told police that four men got out of a private car and two allegedly attacked her 41-year-old husband with knives before the group fled by car.
The man suffered a 7-centimetre leg wound, remained conscious and was taken to hospital.
