A man who collapsed while hiking at Ha Miu Tin in Tai Po died after resuscitation efforts at hospital. He became unwell and lost consciousness at about 3pm on 11 October 2026.
Firefighters attended, and a helicopter took him to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. Rescue personnel used a mechanical chest-compression device during resuscitation.
