Hong Kong will be the sole host city for Vinexpo Asia for five consecutive years, from 2027 to 2031. The Hong Kong Tourism Board and exhibition organiser Vinexposium signed a memorandum of understanding on October 30, 2026, setting out the commitment.

The first show under the agreement is scheduled for June 8–10, 2027, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Vinexpo Asia had previously been held in Hong Kong every other year; the new schedule makes it an annual event through 2031.

The parties are also considering activities beyond the exhibition, with initial ideas for events in major districts featuring wine tastings, food pairings and networking. The planned promotions would showcase wine and spirits culture from Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

Philippe Tapie, an elected member of a Bordeaux-Gironde chamber of commerce, said the five-year schedule would give producers, buyers and other industry members a dependable platform for longer-term planning. The partnership could also help them strengthen business links and grow their businesses.
