Man charged after about 5.5kg of suspected crack cocaine seized

Customs and Excise Department officers found about 5.5kg of suspected crack cocaine in a 33-year-old man’s luggage at Hong Kong International Airport on 27 October. The drugs were concealed in six snack packages.

The man has been charged with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs. He is scheduled to appear at West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts on 29 October.
