Police seized about 2,750 litres of petrol and fuel equipment from a suspected illegal fuel station in Tin Shui Wai, authorities said.
The suspected station was found on Ping Pak Lane during a joint police and Hong Kong Fire Services Department operation on October 29. Six people were arrested.
Authorities said the site was close to homes and had no dedicated fire-safety installations or equipment. They warned that a fire could pose a serious threat to nearby residents and buildings.
