A planned light installation around Lugard Road and Harlech Road on the Peak was halted. The Hong Kong Tourism Board had planned the project.
Legislator Judy Chan visited the area on 31 October and said dismantling and restoration work was under way on the affected paths and slopes.
Chan described the work as progressing in an orderly way. She said some grass damaged earlier had already been replaced.
