A female road worker was killed when a truck struck her on Sha Tin Road near Pok Hong Estate at about 11am on 5 November 2026.
The truck was travelling towards Tai Po. The woman was carrying out road maintenance and suffered a head injury; she was confirmed dead at the scene.
The Transport Department said the slow lane towards Ma On Shan near the estate was closed because of the crash. Drivers could use the remaining lanes, where traffic was busy.
