A woman found unconscious beside a shared bicycle near the sewage pumping station in Nam Sang Wai, Yuen Long, later died after being taken to hospital, Star Headline reported.
Police received a report from a passer-by at about midnight on 19 September that the woman was lying on Pok Wai South Road near the pumping station, with a bicycle beside her. Rescuers found her unconscious and took her by ambulance to Pok Oi Hospital.
Star Headline reported that she had no breathing or pulse when rescuers arrived. The bicycle was described as a shared bicycle and was found near the roadside, while officers investigated on the cycle track.
i-CABLE News described the incident as a suspected loss of control involving the bicycle. Police were investigating the cause of the incident.
