A 91-year-old resident of Ap Lei Chau Home for the Elderly died after being taken unconscious to Queen Mary Hospital on October 25.
Care-home staff told police at about 5pm that he had become unconscious while eating wonton rice noodles and was suspected of choking. Rescue personnel took him to hospital for treatment and resuscitation.
His cause of death had not been determined pending an autopsy.
